Terms of service
These terms cover your use of astonabode.com and any order you place with us. Placing an order means you accept them.

ELIGIBILITY
You must be 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to buy from us.
PRODUCTS, PRICES AND CURRENCY
We show prices in Singapore dollars and Shopify converts them to your currency at checkout. That converted number is indicative. Your bank sets the real rate and may add a fee of its own. Our prices exclude tax, and we do not tax shipping.
We make our pieces in small batches, so colour, print placement and measurements move a little between units. We shoot the photography as honestly as we can and screens still lie.
ORDERS
An order confirmation acknowledges your order. It does not accept it. We accept when we dispatch. We can cancel and refund an order in full when the piece is out of stock, when the price or description was wrong, or when we suspect fraud or resale. We will tell you which. Stock is limited. We do not hold pieces, take backorders, or promise restocks.
PAYMENT
Shopify Payments processes your card. We never see or store your full card details. We take payment in full at checkout. If a payment reverses or you file a chargeback, we can cancel any pending order and stop serving you.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Our shipping policy covers this. Risk passes to you when the carrier delivers. Title passes when we have your money in full.
RETURNS
Our return and refund policy covers this. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under Singapore's Consumer Protection Fair Trading Act, or the equivalent law where you live.
CUSTOMS AND IMPORT CHARGES
On an international order you are the importer. Duties, taxes and clearance fees your country charges are yours, and they are not part of what you paid us. If you abandon a parcel at customs and it comes back to us, we refund you less shipping and less whatever the return cost us.
DISCOUNTS AND PROMOTIONS
A discount code or automatic discount runs on the terms we stated when we offered it. We can change or withdraw a promotion any time before you order. Codes work once per customer unless we say otherwise, do not stack unless we say otherwise, and carry no cash value.
STORE CREDIT AND GIFT CARDS
Store credit from a return lasts 12 months. Gift cards do not expire. Neither converts to cash.
ACCOUNTS
If you open an account, keep the login to yourself. What happens under your account is your responsibility. Tell us the moment you think someone else is in there.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The name ASTON ABODE, the logos, the garment designs, the prints, the photography and the words on this site belong to us. Do not reproduce, resell or commercially use any of it without written permission. Buying a garment buys you the garment, not the design.
RESELLING
We sell to individuals, for personal use. We can cancel orders that look like bulk buying for resale, and refuse those accounts later.
YOUR CONTENT
Tag us or send us photos and you give us permission to repost them with credit. Ask us to take something down and we will.
ACCEPTABLE USE
Do not break, scrape, overload or reverse engineer the site, and do not use it for anything unlawful.
THIRD PARTY SERVICES
The site runs on Shopify and leans on other companies for delivery, analytics and advertising. Their terms govern their part, and we do not control their platforms.
LIABILITY
We owe you what you bought, in the condition we described. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability on any order stops at what you paid for it. Nothing here excludes what we cannot legally exclude.
CHANGES
We can update these terms. Whichever version was on the site when you ordered is the one that governs your order.
GOVERNING LAW
Singapore law governs. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction.
